Someone’s ‘0’ will go at EuroFC 01 in Espoo, Finland on October 1st as Aussie Rob Wilkinson (9-0) and Steven Cnudde (7-0) put their undefeated records on the line.
‘Razor’ Rob Wilkinson will venture to Europe for the first time in his MMA career. The Australian, who also debuted in 2011, has established himself as one of the most dangerous fighters Down Under finishing each of his opponents by submission or strikes, eight of which occured in the first round.
Belgium’s Cnudde made his professional debut in 2011 and has won all seven of his bouts finishing each of his opponents, including the likes of Cheick Kone and the much bigger light heavyweight Alexander Neufang. The 28-year-old comes from a Judo background, where he holds a black belt, and this has been evident in his fighting style.
Two undefeated stars with a 100% finish rate between them…something big is bound to happen in this fight.
EuroFC matchmaker Tim Leidecker spoke of his excitement for this fight:
“Steven Cnudde has been one of Europe’s best-kept secrets for the last couple of years and the Belgian national champion in judo has been chased by several renowned promotions in Europe and Asia. We’re very proud that he has signed a contract over multiple fights with EuroFC. His first fight with us will be a real test of skill straight away has he faces fellow unbeaten middleweight ‘Razor’ Rob Wilkinson.
“The 24-year-old Muay Thai specialist is ranked #1 in Australia and holds championship titles with two of the continent’s biggest MMA promotions. Cnudde vs. Wilkinson will open a stacked international main card in Espoo, Finland.”
