New Zealand based fighters Steven “Warzone” Warby and John Vake secured international wins over the weekend in China.
The 28-year-old Auckland based fighter defeated Russian Mikhail Udovidchenko on WKG (World Kings of Glory) card which took place in Heilongjiang, China on Friday night.
Warby countered with a hard right that immediately sent his opponent to his knees. Warby unloaded on the ground to secure the stoppage.
The win was Warby’s first since losing to Tyson Pedro back in October. Warby moves to an impressive 9-2.
Also on the card, John Vake was made to work against a Russian opponent listed simply as Sergei, before the Kiwi was awarded the unanimous decision.
