The Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre in North Queensland hosts Carnage in the Cage (CITC) 8 this Saturday with a bantamweight title fight between Kairin Moses and Edwin Arana headlining the card.
Moses made his debut back in 2013 where he secured an impressive win over Suasday Chau however didn’t return back to action until last year, defeating Aden Hawke at CITC 6. That was followed by a five-round loss to undefeated youngster Trent Girdham. He bounced back in his last outing in October with all three career wins coming via stoppage.
His opponent, Edwin Arana, a former Brace title holder and Eternal title challenger, has won only once in his last five bouts however those losses came against the likes Michael Tobin, Reece McLaren, Luke Morris and Jordan Lucas. Arana’s last win came against Ashkan Mokhtarian, handing the standout his only career defeat.
Also on the card, South Australian fighter Luke Howard will meet Damien Fraser in a welterweight battle. Howard (3-1) will be looking to secure the biggest victory of his short career with Fraser (5-7) looking for his second win on the trot after submitting Ali Cevik in December.
