A flyweight title fight between Luke Morris and Shannon Ross has been confirmed for the long awaited return of Nitro.
The promotion, which has been on the sidelines for over two years, will return to the Logan Entertainment Centre on June 10 with Nitro 14 – Reloaded.
Morris himself has been out of action since a submission loss to Tim Moore back in December 2015 on Eternal 14. Prior to that, Morris had won three on the trot which included capturing the Nitro flyweight title with a win over Chris Morris in 2014.
Shannon Ross (formerly Shannon McClellan) will be looking to bounce back after losing a unanimous decision to recently signed UFC fighter Ashkan Mokhtarian back in April 2016. The Gold Coast based fighter has wins against the likes of Edwin Arana and Commonwealth games wrestler Shane Parker.
