Benny Alloway will make his Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB) return next month in Austria where the Gold Coast based welterweight will take on local standout Ismail Naurdiev.
ACB 60 will take place at Hallmann Dome in Vienna, Austria on 13 May. The event will be streamed live and free of charge at FITE TV. You can download the free app here.
This fight will be Alloway’s (19-7) third appearance in the promotion where has one win and one loss. Most recently, the 36 year-old former UFC fighter submitted Russian MMA veteran Sergey Khandozhko last year at ACB 48 (fight video). The win made it two consecutive victories for “Blanco” following his Carnage in the Cage welterweight title win over Matt Vaile.
The Aussie will come up against Austrian based youngster Ismail Naurdiev. At just 20 years of age, Naurdiev has built an impressive 14-1 record fighting over Europe, with all but one of his wins coming via a stoppage. Originally hailing from Russia, Naurdiev, who started with MMA at 16, is currently riding a 10 fight win streak with his last victory coming against Andrei Vasinca (4-10), a first round TKO at ACB 52 in January. Of his 15 fights to date, Alloway will serve as Naurdiev’s most experienced and no doubt toughest test.
