Integrated MMA fighter Ben Nguyen is the biggest winner after the latest UFC rankings were released earlier today, moving up four positions to number eight in promotions flyweight division.
It’s hardly a surprise after Nguyen’s impressive performance against Tim Elliot on Sunday at UFC Auckland. The 28-year-old Brisbane based fighter needed only 49-seconds to submit Elliot in what was the second quickest submission in UFC flyweight history. Elliot drops back to number 12.
Mark Hunt swaps positions with Derrick Lewis whom he defeated in the main event of UFC Auckland. Hunt is now ranked number five on on the UFC heavyweight rankings while Lewis drops to six.
Following his knock-out loss at the hands of Derek Brunson, Melbourne based Dan Kelly has dropped out of the middleweight rankings.
Tyson Pedro remains ranked number 12 at light-heavyweight.
