Only days after the disappointment of having her fight against Lana Kate cancelled 24-hours out from the bout, Integrated Martial Arts fighter Jessy Rose-Clark, commonly known as Jessy Jess, has signed with the largest all women’s MMA promotion, Invicta FC.
The news which had been rumoured for a while, was confirmed by Jess on social media.
Jessy comes into the promotion with a 5-1 record and is currently riding a three fight win streak against the likes of Zoie Shreiweis, New Zealand fighter Kate Da Silva and a tough five-round win over Tasmanian Rhiannon Thompson. Jessy is the current Unarmed Combat Unleashed, XFC & Roshambo champion.
Jessy was scheduled to meet Lana Kate on last weekend’s Australian Fighting Championships event, however Lana pulled out minutes before the weigh-in stating contract and weigh-in problems.
Invicta Fighting Championships was founded in 2012 and has held nine shows to date and earlier this year signed a partnership with the UFC Fight Pass to stream their events live.
Jessy is expected to make her debut with the promotion in the early part of 2015.
