“The Thunder From Down Under”, Matthew Frincu (11-2) will headline Legacy Fighting Alliance 24 when he squares up against Curtis Millender (12-3) in October.
The fight was confirmed by the promotion on Thursday morning and will take place at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, USA on October 13 (October 14 in Australia).
Based out of the Arizona Combat Sports academy, Frincu, 24, is riding a four-fight win streak and has lost just once in seven outings since making the move from the Gold Coast. The loss came at the hands of Abubakar Nurmagomedov , a cousin of UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Millender also comes into the contest on a four-fight winning streak, having defeated Kevin Holland in his last outing back in June on LFA 13. A former Bellator fighter, Millender is a grinder, going the distance in 10 of his 15 career bouts.
Also announced for the card is a bantamweight bout between Joey Miolla and Vinicius Zani.
