UFC officials have announced today’s attendance for UFC Fight Night 121 drew 10,021 people.
The event, which took place at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, was headlined by Fabricio Werdum taking on Marcin Tybura.
Even with local heavyweight Mark Hunt controversially removed from the event over a month ago, the attendance was higher than the last time the promotions last visit to Sydney. Then, a headline fight between Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold drew 9,904 in attendance at the same venue.
10,021 rates as the seventh biggest attendance the UFC has had, out of 13 total events held in Australia and New Zealand since it’s debut here back in 2010.
No live gate total was announced at the post-fight press-conference.
