‘John’ Wayne Parr has once again proven that age is no barrier as he added another impressive victory to his stellar record this morning at Bellator Kickboxing 8 in Florence, Italy.
Parr’s walk-forward pressure and strong boxing skills were just too much for young Italian fighter Piergiulo Paolucci as the referee put a stop to the bout in the third round following a barrage of punches from Parr.

The TKO victory for Parr is his second stoppage while fighting for Bellator Kickboxing and could put him in a strong position to challenge for the promotion’s Welterweight title next year. The win caps off what has been an impressive year for Parr who improves his record to 98-32. Parr is currently two fights into his three-fight deal with Bellator.
In other results, Kevin Ross suffered a surprising split decision loss to Italian fighter Hamza Imane, while popular fighter Joe Schilling scored an impressive unanimous points victory over tough Belgian Filip Verlinden. The night’s main event saw current Bellator Kickboxing Welterweight Champion Raymond Daniels walk away with a unanimous points victory in a non-title fight with Greek fighter Giannis Boukis.
