Australia’s first UFC champion Robert Whittaker will make the first defence of his title against former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold at Perth Arena on Sunday, February 11.
The event marks the first time the organisation has done an event in the city after the cage ban was finally lifted WA.
Tickets for the event go on sale to the public this Friday via Ticketek, December 15 at 1 p.m AWST/ 4 P.M AEDT.
UFC Fight Club members will have the earliest opportunity to purchase tickets with that being on Tuesday, December 12 at 1 p.m AWST / 4 p.m via www.ufcfightclub.com. UFC Newsletter subscribers can purchase tickets on Wednesday, December 13 and Thursday December 14, starting at 1 p.m AWST/ 4 p.m AEDT at www.ufc.com/perth.
In other announced bouts, Tyson Pedro (6-1) will be taking on Russian fighter Saparbek Safarov (8-1) and number 4 ranked flyweight Jussier Formiga (20-5) will fight number 8 ranked Ben Nguyen (17-6).
