UFC executives announced at the post-fight press-conference that promotion’s first outing in Adelaide, South Australia drew an attendance of 7,984. The official live gate was given as $833,810.
UFC Fight Night 65 was held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in South Australia and featured a heavyweight clash as the main event with American Stipe Miocic battering Sydney’s Mark Hunt.

The UFC’s last outing in Australia featured a stoppage in every fight and it came close to that figure again, with 10 of the 12 fights ending in either KO/TKO or a submission. The $50,000 performance of the night bonuses were awarded to Robert Whittaker, James Vick, Daniel Hooker and Alex Chambers.
The UFC is expecting to return back to Australia in November with an event scheduled to be held in Melbourne.
