Buckle up fight fans, Damien ‘Beatdown’ Brown is set to unleash once again at UFC 221 in Perth.
Never one to put on a dull fight, the Australian military veteran will take on South Korean fighter Dong Hyun ‘Maestro’ Kim. The Daily Telegraph was first to report the news.
Despite not having the most glamorous record, Brown (17-11 MMA, 2-3 UFC) continues to gain fans around the world for his fearless performances and willingness to stand and brawl with his opponents.
This was on full display recently when Brown fought Frank Camacho at UFC Fight Night 121 in Sydney. The two put on a striking classic and walked away with fight of the night honours as Camacho was awarded the split-points decision victory. The loss was even more painstaking for Brown to take after his opponent had failed to make the contracted weight
Healed up nicely from the war we had but it’d be nice if @crankeffect didn’t punch me in the ear cause that shit still hurts #cauliflowerear #brusied #ufcsydney #ufc pic.twitter.com/yvOYcuoabF
