Jamie Mullarkey was crowned the Urban Fight Night lightweight champion on Saturday night in Western Sydney, snatching the title from local favorite Josh Togo with a first round TKO stoppage.

Searching for his second win a row, Mullarkey came forward looking confident with his striking, however the Central Coast fighter was caught with a left hand from the awkward and dynamic striking of Togo, momentarily stumbling backwards. After a quick recovery, Mullarkey soon scored a solid takedown and eventually moved his way into mount before forcing the stoppage with strikes from the back of the now former champion (fight starts at 2:53:00 below).
