Bali MMA training partners Kaan Ofli from Australia nd New Zealand’s John Brewin both scored victories on Friday at Brave Combat Federation 12.
The event took place at the Balai Sarbini Concert Hall in South Jakarta on Friday night.
An Australian Fighting Championships regular, Kaan Ofli made his Brave debut and was able to take the unanimous decision win against Filipino fighter Jeremy Pacatiw in a back-and-forth fight. The win takes his listed record to 5-2, 1 draw while Pacatiw drops to 6-3.
Facing a two-time amateur IMMAF world championship medalist in England’s Hardeep Rai, New Zealand’s John Brewin won in impressive style, stopping his opponent with strikes in the second round. It was a quick turn-around for Brewin who only three weeks earlier had made his professional debut where he won a decision against Kimo Smith on the Nitro MMA 15 card.
