New Zealand’s Ev Ting was eliminated from the One Championship lightweight tournament last night when he was stopped by Sayid Arslanaliev inside a minute.
The event, One Championship – Call To Greatness, took place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The Dagestani born fighter dropped Ting with a lead left hook and capitalised with a flurry of punches to get the stoppage only 25-seconds into the bout.

An impressive statement from 24-year-old Arslanaliev who climbs to 7-1. Notably, his lone loss came via disqualification due to an illegal kick. Ting’s record drops to 16-6.
Arslanaliev moves on to face Ariel Sexton who submitted Amir Khan on the same card.
On the other side of the tournament bracket, Lowen Tyananes progressed to the semi-finals with a win over Honorio Banario last month. He will face the winner of Timofey Nastyukhin and Eddie Alvarez who meet on the promotions debut in Japan next month.
In the main event, Stamp Fairtex defeated American Janet Todd to secure the One Super Series Muay Thai women’s atomweight belt.
