Sydney based Arlene Blencowe has her next Bellator fight lined up and will take on Amanda Bell at Bellator 224.
The match-up was among six new bouts announced for the event, which takes place at the WinStar World Casino in Oklahoma, USA on July 13 (AEST).
It will the first bout for Blencowe this calendar year having last competed back in September 2018 in which she took a third-round TKO victory over Amber Leibrock. Prior to that the 36-year-old challenged for the Bellator women’s featherweight title but was edged by current champion Julia Budd in a split points decision. Blencowe brings an 11-7 (4-3 Bellator) record into the contest.
Bell’s most recent outing was also against Amber Leibrock with “The Lady Killer” finishing that contest inside the first round. After losing to fellow Australian Megan Anderson back in 2016, Bell has gone on to compile a 3-1 record in her last four outings for a career record of 6-5 (2-1 Bellator).
It will be a special night with two other women’s featherweight bouts scheduled for the card including Juli Budd defending her Bellator title against Olga Rubin in the main event of the evening.
