Brad Riddell and Jamie Mullarkey are set to live their dream as they clash against each other at UFC 243 in Melbourne.
It was announced last week that Christchurch kickboxing sensation Brad Ridell had signed on to fight at UFC 243, but an opponent had not yet been found.
The Central Coast’s Jamie Mullarkey pounced on the opportunity, taking to social media to call out Riddell and be the one who welcomes him to the Octagon.

The call-out worked and Mullarkey has got his wish.
Sources close to the situation have confirmed Mullarkey has signed with the UFC and will fight Riddell at the event.
Mullarkey fights out of Central Coast MMA under head coach and former UFC fighter Ross Pearson. He has been fighting professionally since 2013, compiling a record of 12-2 on his way to Brace and Superfight MMA titles as well as the number 1 lightweight in Australia and New Zealand according to the Tapology MMA Rankings.
Riddell will be the first UFC fighter from Christchurch, New Zealand. Training out of City Kickboxing in Auckland, Riddell has over 80 professional muay Thai fights and has amassed a professional MMA career of 6-1.
