Fighting in the UFC is a hell of a drug and Brad Riddell wants more as soon as he can.
The kickboxer turned mixed martial artist who has fought all over the world more than 80 times said nothing could compare to what he had just experienced inside the cage in the middle of Marvel Stadium.
“This is like those moments on steroids, maybe on crack cocaine, it is crazy,” Riddell said after the fight.
“There is nothing like fighting in the UFC and there is nothing like fighting in front of 50,000 people in the UFC, pretty much at home. I feel very privileged and I thank the UFC for giving me this opportunity.”

Riddell went toe-to-toe in a three-round slugfest with Jamie Mullarkey who also made his debut at the event. The two fighters picked up ‘fight of the night’ honors and cashed in an extra 50k for their efforts.
Not one to want to sit around on the sidelines, Riddell made it clear he is eager to join his City Kickboxing teammates Alex Volkanovski and Kai Kara France on the upcoming UFC 245 card in Las Vegas on December 15 (Australian time).
“I’m sweet, I got a few stitches man. Four or five days they will be out and I’ll be back training. I would love to back it up on December 14th.”
December 14th ….Vegas…..put me on @danawhite .

UFC 245 features three title fights including Alex Volkanovoski who will fight Max Holloway for the featherweight title on the card. Riddell met Volkanovski while training at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket started helping him work on his striking skills soon after. Their City Kickboxing teammate Kai Kara-France who also features on the card will be taking on Brandon Moreno.
“The window of this sport, the opportunity is very small,” Riddell continued.
“I want to jump back in there as soon as I can. And there’s nothing better than fighting with your teammates on a card and filling up the locker room with all your boys, and I would love to do that in Vegas.”
