Australia’s George Kambosos Jnr and American Devin Haney will clash on Sunday to become the undisputed lightweight world champion.
Kambosos (20-0), has not competed in his home country since October 2017, choosing to take on all comers internationally. The 28-year-old upset Teofimo Lopez in November to capture the IBF, WBO and WBA (Super) world titles.
The undefeated Devin Haney (27-0) now stands in his way.
Tensions started to build between the two during negotiations and have continued in the lead-up to the bout, which will take place in front of a large crowd at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.
