Australian heavyweight Tai Tuivasa revealed on Alex Pereira’s vlog on Youtube that he will be taking on Jairzinho Rozenstruik on the UFC 305 card in Perth.
News of the fight was also confirmed by multiple outlets including MMA Junkie and MMA Fighting.
A conversation with Pereira’s coach Plinio Cruiz featured on the vlog with Tuivasa seemingly confirming his next fight.
“Perth. What’s his name? Jairz… Rozenstruik. Good fight, no f***ing wrestling. I’m sick of all the f***ing wrestling.”
It will be a must-win fight for Tuivasa with his UFC record standing at 8-7, and four losses on the trot after previously being ranked inside the top 5 of the UFC’s heavyweight division.
Rozenstruik will also be eager for victory having not won consecutive bouts since 2019, though he did score a TKO victory in his last outing against Shamil Gaziev.
