An interim welterweight title will be contested at Hex Fight Series 32 when Kaleb Rideout faces off against Kitt Campbell.
The bout was confirmed for the card set to take place at the Melbourne Pavilion on September 7.
“Krazy Horse” Rideout returns to the Hex cage for the first time since 2021 as he brings a 7-3 record which includes career wins against Ben Johnston and current UFC fighter Kevin Jousset. He has been inactive on the MMA front, having not fought since a submission loss to Joseph Luciano back in March 2023.
“The Killer” Campbell brings a 13-7 record and experience on his side, having been competing since 2013. He has won three of his last four outings, most recently against New Zealand’s Matt Vaile back in March.
Hex has not released information on the status of the current Hex welterweight champion Aldin Bates, who returns to fight for rival promotion Eternal MMA in August.
