Undefeated flyweight Stewart Nicoll will reportedly make his Octagon debut at UFC 305 in Perth this August.
News of the signing was first revealed via From The Stands and later confirmed by Beatdown Promotions, where Nicoll has competed in his last four bouts.
Nicoll will bring an unblemished 8-0 professional record into his UFC debut, having gone to the judges just once, which includes four KO/TKO’s and three submission wins. Earlier in his career, he also claimed the XFC flyweight title.
In his last outing, he defeated Japanese Issei Kitano (full fight video below) at Beatdown Promotions 6 in March this year.

“Stoked to see the main that has worked so hard and consistently for years to achieve a dream,” Beatdown Promotion and former UFC fighter Damien Brown commented about the signing.
“Stayed the course. Well done,” he added.
Local flyweight fighters are already expected to feature on the event with a big showdown between the ranked Kai Kara-France and Steve Erceg strongly rumoured to be on the card already.
UFC 305 will take place at the RAC Arena in Perth on August 18. Ticket details are still to be confirmed.
