Isaac Thomson bounced back into the winners’ column on the weekend, defeating one-time Bellator fighter Israel Delgado via decision.
The bout featured on the main card of Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) 192 and was broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.
There was a 16-year age difference between the two, but it didn’t show as the 22-year-old dominated, predominantly with his wrestling in rounds one and three, and a well-rounded striking game in round two.
Ultimately, all three judges scored it 30-27 to Thomson in a polished performance.
He moves his professional record to 7-2 (LFA 4-2).
Originally from Sydney, Thomson has relocated to Sacramento, USA to chase his dreams under the guidance of Team Alpha Male with Urijah Faber among the trainers in his corner alongside Alexander Munoz and Marc Reaves.
