Gold Coast based featherweight Megan Anderson has received her first Invicta FC assignment.
Anderson (4-1) will look to get past Cindy Dandois (5-2) from Belgium in her promotional debut at Invicta FC 14 on September 12 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The 25 year-old Aussie will take a four-fight win streak into what will also double as her international debut. Anderson hasn’t tasted defeat since she lost her first pro fight against Zoie Shreiweis back in 2013, she avenged the loss in December, however, and took home the Roshambo featherweight title in the process.
Her opponent, 30 year-old Cindy Dandois made her Invicta FC debut in December after building a 5-1 record in Europe. It was more than a three year layoff for Dandois, and she lost via a second round submission to Tonya Evinger.
Invicta FC 14 takes place at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri and will stream live on UFC Fight Pass. The headlining act will see bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger look to defend her title for the first time when she comes up against Pannie Kianzad. Kianzad is coming off a unanimous decision win over Aussie Jessica-Rose Clark at Invicta FC 13.
