Australian flyweight and star of TV reality show “The Crew”, is set to fight on the UFC 193 event taking place at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne on November 15.
Vaculik revealed the news as a host on Fox Sports Australia’s UFC Fight Week on Thursday night.
The 32-year-old big wave surfer said:
“I’ve been confirmed for the card. Just waiting to get an opponent. I’m wrapped to be part of this amazing event. Just sitting back waiting to get an opponent.”
Despite going 1-2 in his first three fights within the UFC’s Octagon, Vaculik revealed earlier this year that he had resigned a new four fight contract with the promotion. The big wave surfer last fought back in November where he arguably won the first two rounds before being knocked out in the opening seconds of the last round by Louis Smolka.
