Brace announced on Sunday that three-times Australian Muay Thai champion, Jade Thomson, will be making her MMA début against Jessica Rose-Clark in the main event of Brace 38.
Thomson is most well known for her accomplishments in Mauy Thai, however she also holds a black belt in Karate, a purple belt in Kempo Jiu Jitsu and is a former Koshiki world champion – all of which should hold her in good stead as she makes her transition into MMA.
Her opponent, Rose-Clark, is making her return to Australian soil for the first time since 2014, after fighting for the top women’s MMA promotion, Invicta FC in the USA and Japanese promotion Tribe Tokyo Fight (TTF). Rose-Clark is a three-times bantamweight Australian champion and brings to the table a 5-2 professional MMA record.
Brace 38 takes place at the Bigtop Luna Park in Sydney on Saturday 26th March, 2016. The event will also be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.
