Undefeated Victorian youngster Jordan Lucas has been paired with Edward Kelly where he will make his long awaited One Championship debut on March 18.
The event, One: Union of Warriors will be held at the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon, Myanmar, with home-crowd hero Aung La N Sang headlining the card against Egyptian fighter Mohamed Ali.
Twenty-two year-old “Showtime” Lucas was scheduled to make his debut in the promotion back in December, however an injury postponed his international debut. Based out of Team Nemesis, Lucas has compiled an impressive record of eight wins, zero losses which culminated in him capturing the 2014 Brace bantamweight tournament championship with wins against Richie Ivory, Edwin Arana and Stephen Reeks.
His opponent, Filipino fighter Edward Kelly will come into the contest in need of another win, having only secured one win in his four fights within the promotion. In his last outing, Kelly was stopped by Australian based Martin Nguyen back in November.
