Eternal MMA 15 goes down at the WA Italian Club tonight with Mick Addison facing Orcun As for the opportunity to challenge for the Eternal bantamweight title later this year.
Training out of Evolution MMA, Addison is eager to get the win in front of his home-crowd. A former pro motocross rider who played a part in Mad Max: Fury Road, Addison cut his teeth through the amateur ranks and steps up for the biggest challenge of his professional MMA career.
“The opportunity to fight for an Australian title doesn’t come around often so I’m excited. I’m focusing on tonight’s fight first and then the work continues,” Addison was quoted as saying.
“I’m stoked to be apart of the prestigious Eternal MMA promotion and I want to bring a belt back to my team in WA.”
Training out of Freestyle Fight Gym under Joe Lopez, Orcun As isn’t short of confidence as travels from his gym in Shellharbour, New South Wales to Perth for the bout.
“I’ve not flown to Perth to go home with out the win and after I win this weekend I’m going to the Gold Coast for the belt in May and I’ll be taking that home with me as well,” As commented.
“Some say it’s cocky, I say its confidence. I know I have it. I see right through to my future.. With a head coach like Joe Lopez and a great team at Freestyle Fighting Gym, I can’t go wrong.”
