Greg Atzori will defend his Eternal lightweight title against Isaac Tisdell in the main event of Eternal 16 tonight in what will be one of three title fights on the night which includes Tristan Murphy taking on Damien Fraser and Ashkan Mokhtarian against Shannon McClellan.
The event takes place at the Nerang PCYC in Queensland, Australia on Saturday night.
Training out of Integrated Hervey Bay, Atzori added the Eternal lightweight title to his collection back in December, when he dethroned David Butt with a second round submission. It was his fourth straight win after previously defeating Abel Brites, Nick Robbins and Brad Terrey.
Facing him on the other side will be Isaac Tisdell who is also comes into the fight on a four fight winning streak, however has been inactive from competitive MMA, last competing back in October 2014 where he stopped Gokhan Turkyilmaz.
Now training out of Integrated MMA, Tristan Murphy will be hoping to defend his welterweight title. Murphy last competed back in May last year where he lost to UFC veteran Benny Alloway in a non-title fight.
Hoping to dethrone him will be Infinity MMA fighter Damien Fraser who also comes into the fight on the back of a loss, having lost to New Zealand welterweight Luke Jumeau. It will be his second fight in the promotion after defeating Aiden Meany via decision back in May 2015.
Locally PUMMA gym fighter Shannon McClellan will bring a three fight win streak into his fight against Ashkan Mokhtarian who comes into the bout off TKO win in February. The bout will be for the vacant Eternal title.
Also returning back to action on the card will be undefeated Michael Tobin as he comes up against Craig Lankester.
