Middleweight Robert Whittaker has moved up one position on the UFC rankings following his victory over Rafael Natal.
Whittaker moves into the number 6 position, replacing former UFC light-heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida who dropped to number 7.
Since making the move from welterweight to middleweight, The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes season winner is undefeated in the division after four fights. Knockout wins against Clint Hester and Brad Tavaraes were followed by decision victories against Uriah Hall at UFC 193 and Rafael Natal in Las Vegas on the weekend gone.
At the post-fight conference, Whittaker made his intentions clear.
“If you are a middleweight, you are on my list. I’m happy to fight anyone. There is no particular person I want to fight next on the list. The UFC have had no problems in matching me with great fights before. I leave it to them. They been doing great work.”
“They line them up, I knock them down.”
