Following their Australian debut in December last year, ACB looks set to return to this part of the world twice in 2018 with the fast-expanding Russian promotion announcing a number of proposed events for the remainder of the year including shows in Brisbane and Auckland.
The promotion’s first Australian offering, ACB 76, took place at the Gold Coast Convention Center on December 9. The show featured a host of local talent including Michael Tobin, Kieran Joblin, Trent Girdham, Shannon Ross and former UFC fighter Dylan Andrews to name a few. A full recap of the event can be found here.
Just this week via Instagram the promotion revealed their intentions to host 2018 events in Brisbane on June 16 and in Auckland on October 13.
The events will be spearhead by former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, commentator Bryan Lacey and UK MMA promoter Carl Prince. The newly appointed team will be responsible for organising tournaments in America, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe and Asia.
