The first matchups for Absolute Championship Berkut’s (ACB) Australian debut have come to light.
As previously announced, the landmark event will take place December 9 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland.
Over the past few months, Fight News Australia has revealed a number of fighters who have signed on to compete at the show.
This week the promotion announced the first two fights via social media with rising England based bantamweight Dean Garnett taking on Strikeforce and Bellator veteran Anthony Leone, while in an all local matchup slated for the night, former Eternal MMA featherweight champion Garret Gross squares off with Johnny Walker.
Fight News Australia can today exclusively reveal that multiple local welterweight champion Corey “Major” Nelson (20-6-2) will make his promotional debut against Russia’s Azamat Amagov (9-1 MMA, 2-1 ACB).
