A month out from his One Championship bout, Adrian Pang has had a change of opponents and will now face former UFC veteran Roger Huerta on the One Championship: Defending Honor card next month.
Huerta (22-9-1) shot to fame in 2007 where, while competing for the Ultimate Fighting Championships, he became the first mixed martial artist to appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine. Huerta won his first six fights in the UFC and was being touted as a title challenger before he lost back-to-back fights with Kenny Florian and Gray Maynard; before taking a break from the sport to chase acting aspirations.
The 33-year-old went on to sign with Bellator before finding a home with One Championship.
Pang (22-9-2) will be eager to stake another claim at a shot at the title following a loss to Eduard Folayang back in August. Pang was originally scheduled to face Eddie Ng on the card.
One Championship: Defending Honor takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on November 11.
