The hard work is done.
Alex Volkanovski has made weight and will challenge Max Holloway for the UFC featherweight title this Sunday.
Volkanovski tipped the scales at 144.5 pounds (65.5kg).

The tilt at the UFC title for Volkanovski is the culmination of six years fighting as a professional, including a 17 fight winning streak and an undefeated run in the UFC.
Standing in his way of gold is Max Holloway.
Holloway will be looking to make the fourth consecutive defense of his UFC featherweight title with a win over Volkanovski. The Hawaiian has won his last 14 featherweight fights but did drop a decision earlier in the year when he challenged for the interim lightweight belt.
New Zealand’s Kai Kara-France also made weight for his flyweight fight with Brandon Moreno.
The Kiwi is also undefeated in the UFC, having won all three of his fights in the Octagon since he made his UFC debut last year.
