Following an impressive Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) debut back in February, Australian fighter Matthew Frincu has been announced to headline LFA 11 which will take place at the Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Arizona on May 5 (May 6 in Australia).
The Arizona based Aussie who trains at the Arizona Combat Sports academy will face-off against local Daniel Madrid (13-4) who comes into the contest having won his last six outings, five via submission and one by TKO.
Frincu dominated Kris Hocum back in February to take his professional record to 10-2. Since making the move to North America, Frincu, aged 23, has lost just once in seven outings. That came at the hands of Abubakar Nurmagomedov in April 2016. Since then, the former Gold Coast based fighter has won three on the trot.
