Former TUF Smashes representative Ben Alloway will travel to Russia later this month where he will meet undefeated Russian welterweight Sharaf Davlatmurodov.
The bout takes place on the Absolute Championship Berkut 41 card in Sochi, Russia on 15 July.
Based out of the Gold Coast in Queensland, Alloway is currently riding a three fight winning streak which included taking out the 2016 Brace welterweight tournament. Alloway was a semi-finalist on the Australia vs U.K. version of The Ultimate Fighter. The 35-year-old went on to fight three times in the UFC, winning his debut via an impressive head kick against Manuel Rodriguez before losing back-to-back fights to Ryan LaFlare and Zak Cummings.
His opponent, Sharaf Davlatmurudov only made his debut in August 2015 and impressively has already wracked up a record of 8-0 with one draw. All his matches have taken place in either the Altay League promotion or Absolute Championship Berkut with Alloway to be his sternest test to date.
The card will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between Denis Goltsov and Paul Buentello.
