Boxing superstar Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez returns to the ring this Sunday when he meets undefeated Caleb Plant for the undisputed super-middleweight championship of the world.
Canelo competes for the fourth time in a year, having defeated Callum Smith, Avni Yildirim, and Billy Joe Saunders in the past 12-months.
The 31-year-old Mexican brings a 56-1-2 record to the fight which includes 38 wins by stoppage. His lone loss came at the hands of Floyd Mayweather Jr back in 2013.
It’s a big step up in competition for Plant who brings an unblemished 21-0 record, with 12 wins via stoppage.
