New Zealand heavyweight will look to get another one over Dereck Chisora when the two meet in an all-important heavyweight bout in Manchester, Sunday morning, Australian time.
The two met in May where Parker looked to be on the ropes after suffering a first-round knock-down against the heavy-hitting Chisora. The 29-year-old recovered though and was able to fight back to edge Chisora via a split-point decision.
It was a second straight loss for Chisora who had been defeated by Oleksandr Usyk prior to that. The 37-year-old brings a 32-11 record however a large amount of those losses coming against the elite in the heavyweight division over the last decade including Dillian Whyte x2, Tyson Fury x2, David Haye, and Vitali Klitschko.
Parker was the 1.55 favourite last time out and comes into this contest more heavily favoured paying 1.38 this time around while Chisora is paying 3.10 according to Unibet.com.au at the time of publishing.
Should be noted as well that two-time Commonwealth gold medalist, New Zealand’s David Nyika will also make his professional debut on the card while Gold Coast based Bruno Tarimo gets a big opportunity to impress when he meets Zelfa Barrett.
