Australia’s Skye Nicolson kept her unblemished professional record intact with a clear decision victory against Spanish boxer Tania Alvarez.
One just scored all the rounds to Nicolson 100-90, while the other two had it 98-92 and 97-93.
Nicolson, a 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medallist, utilised her amateur experience to counter her opponent at will, with the straight left and right hook continually finding their mark.
It was the first time fighting outside her home country for Alvarez who drops to 7-1, while Nicolson, who is residing in the U.K to chase her professional dreams, moves her record to 6-0.
Earlier on the card, American-based Australian Avril Mathie lost for the first time in her professional career, going down to England fighter Ramla Ali by unanimous decision. Ali moves to 8-1 while Mathe drops to 8-1, 1 draw.
