RISE featherweight title holder Chadd Collins has been confirmed to participating in the GLORY & RISE Featherweight (Under 65kg) Grand Prix.
The eight-man tournament will take in Tokyo, Japan on December 21 and will feature four fighters from GLORY and four from RISE, who will battle for a prize of $100,000.
Gold Coast based Collins is coming off a win against Japanese fighter Yutaro Asahi on the weekend’s RISE World Series card.
“The best eight, 65kg kickboxers in the world will go toe-to-toe throwing leather and lace all in one night,” Collins posted on his social media before adding.
“I’m not here to participate I’m here to take over.”
Joining him as RISE participants in the tournament will be Kento Haraguchi, Taiju Shiratori, and Lee Sung Hyun.
Representing GLORY will be Petchpanomrung, Abraham Vidales, Berjan Peposhi and Miguel Trindade who secured a win over Collins earlier this year.
The first-round match-ups are yet to be announced.
