Undefeated women’s flyweight Chelsea Hackett officially announced she has signed to compete on Dana White’s Contender Series for a chance to earn a UFC contract.
The Gold Coast based fighter will be fighting on October 7 (AEST) in Las Vegas with the opponent to be confirmed.
A long time martial arts practitioner, Hackett left a successful Muay Thai career and made her MMA debut just last year.
Her debut fight ended in a draw against Mel Zeman but since then has racked up three wins on the trot, including a unanimous decision against veteran Rhiannon Thompson most recently.
“Hammer” Hackett trains under the tutelage of her father Geoff Hackett as well as PUMMA Gold Coast.
