Chris “Kewlbonez” Morris was unsuccessful in his challenge for the Rebel Fighting Championship bantamweight title.
The event took place in Shenzhen, China last night.
It was the first time the Southside MMA product had fought internationally and he went the full distance before losing via judges decision to Chinese prospect Jumayi Ayideng.
Morris now turns his attention to Nitro MMA later this month where he meets Shannon Ross for the promotion’s bantamweight title before challenging Mitch Martin for the Eternal bantamweight title next month.
With the win, the 25-year-old Chinese fighter takes his record to 17-3-1, having lost only once in his last 17 bouts.
