David Butt and Damon Upton-Greer will clash for the third time this weekend at Valor 15 in Launceston. The pair will look to settle the score after claiming one win each in the Tasmanian based promotion.
The 75kg rubber match will serve as the main event of the show, which takes place at Launceston’s Polish Hall on Saturday night.
Both previous encounters occurred back in 2013 with Butt getting the last laugh at Valor 6 in Devonport, stopping Upton-Greer by KO in the first round. Not only will Butt be eager to repeat the result, but the Gold Coast based fighter will also be looking to rebound after losing the Eternal lightweight title to Greg Atzori back in December. Upton-Greer is coming off a first round submission of Stephan Friedrich earlier in the year at Valor 13.
In the co-main event, Christina Tatnell returns from a lengthy hiatus and will look to build on a four-fight win streak when she takes on Belinda Sedgwick. In her last outing back in 2014, Tatnell defeated Helen Malone. “Creepy” also holds wins against Amy Adam, Nicole Maxwell and Shauna Carew.

- Christina Tatnell vs. Belinda Sedgwick
