Former UFC middleweight Dylan Andrews has finally secured an opponent for the debut Australian offering from Russian based Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB).
ACB 76 takes place December 9 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Queensland. Tickets are available now via Ticketek.com. You can also download the free FITE TV app here and stream the event free to your mobile device or smart tv.
Andrews (18-7, 0-0 ACB) will take on Russia’s Azamat Amagov (9-1 MMA, 2-1 ACB), who was originally set to face Corey Nelson at the event, however Nelson has been sidelined due to injury.
The 38 year-old Andrews is coming off a highlight-reel knockout over Papy Abedi earlier in the year in Sweden (video below), his first fight back after his time in the UFC where the Gold Coast based Kiwi went 2-3.
It’s safe to say that Dylan the villain andrews’ return this weekend was a successful one!

Amagov, on the other hand, will be eager to bounce back after losing for the first time in his career recently at ACB 58. Prior to the loss, the Russian had put together an impressive nine-fight win streak.
There’s also been other recent additions to the landmark card with long-time Kiwi standout Kieran Joblin (20-9) taking on Russian prospect Bai-Ali Shaipov (3-0).
Meanwhile, Michael Tobin (12-2) returns to the promotion, this time in front of his home crowd when the 25 year-old featherweight squares off with Malaysia’s Sam Chan (5-3).
