Dylan Andrews was unsuccessful in his comeback from injury today, and welterweight debut, suffering a first round TKO loss to Team Quest product Sam Alvey. The fighters met on the preliminary portion of the card, which was streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs Bisping took place on Nov. 8 at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia.
Following a brief feeling out period, Andrews ducked under a combination from Alvey and took the clash to the canvas. He gained mount briefly before Alvey scrambled and regained his feet. With Andrews looking for another takedown, Alvey quickly moved to mount and forced the stoppage with punches from there at 2:16 of the round.
