On the back of a TKO win over Papy Abedi back in August, Gold Coast based Dylan Andrews will make his UFC return against fellow TUF 17 teammate, Clint Hester, at UFC Fight Night 33 in Brisbane.
The middleweight addition to the lineup was made official today by the UFC.

Thirty three year-old Andrews (pictured) joins the ever growing Aussie based talent slated for December 7 (local time) at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, with Mark Hunt, James Te Huna and Soa Palelei all recently announced for the show.
Andrews (17-4) opened his TUF 17 account with a win over Zac Cummings then followed it up by stopping Luke Barnatt, before meeting Uriah Hall in the semi-finals, where he was defeated via TKO.
later receiving the call up to face Jimmy Quinlan at the show’s season finale, Andrews made the most of his UFC birth by stopping the previously unbeaten American via TKO, before knocking out Papy Abedi at Fight Night 27 to bring his UFC run to 2-0.
It will be almost two years since Andrews last appeared in the cage on home soil. It was at Nitro 5 where he successfully defended the promotion’s middleweight title against Hale Vaa’sa.
Clint Hester is currently 1-0 in the promotion after knocking out Bristol Marunde at the TUF 17 finale show. The number one pick for team Jones, Hester’s TUF journey was short lived with the 26 year-old ousted in his first fight. Hester is a former amateur boxer (13-3) and holds a pro MMA record of 8-3.
As previously announced, Mark Hunt will meet Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva in the main event, James Te Huna will square off with former light heavyweight champ Mauricio Rua and Soa Palelei faces Pat Barry.
