The most active MMA promotion in Australia returns tonight with Eternal holding their third event in the space of a month.
Streaming live right here at Fight News Australia, Eternal 43 takes place at the HQ Complex in Adelaide, South Australia and will being headlined with Anthony Bynoe taking on Luke Howard.
The two headliners are South Australian locals with Bynoe stepping up from the lightweight division for this welterweight bout. Bynoe trains out of Trinity MMA and brings a 6-4 MMA record though comes into the fight on the back of two losses to Ethan Duniam.
Howard has based himself out of Bali MMA and brings 4-3 record. Much like his opponent, he too comes into the contest on the back of two losses to Aldin Bates and Jack Della.
Both fought just once in 2018 and will be hoping to kick-start their careers with victory on Friday night.
In a women’s strawweight fight, Casey O’Neill will meet Amira Hazivovic for the vacant title. After losing her opening two career bouts, O’Neill took a two year break from competing. Since returning she has won five wins on the trot to earn herself a title fight. Hafizovic got a one-off call-up to ONE Championship back in 2017 but lost via submission in the opening stanza against Jie Miao.
Paul Traish marginally missed weight but his lightweight fight against Alan Hartley will proceed, albeit with Traish taking a financial penalty.
Also on the card, Jesse Medina takes on Nicko Flessas while Jake Chynoweth meets DJ Bowron.
