During last night’s Eternal 86 event on the Gold Coast, several fights were announced for Eternal 87.
The event takes place at the HBF Stadium in Perth, Western Australia on August 17 and notably will be held the night before UFC 305, being headlined by Dricus Du Plessis and Israel Adesanya.
Confirmed is an Eternal lightweight championship with Harry Webb taking on David Martinez.
Webb brings an unblemished 4-0 record into the contest while Martinez is a former two-time title holder within the promotion and is coming off a decision victory against Wes Capper earlier this month.
Lachlan Stitt claimed the welterweight title last night and his first title defense will come at Eternal 87 against Aldin Bates, who is riding a three-fight win streak.
Also, last night was the four-man tournament with Sebastian Szalay and Dimps Gillies progressing to the final at Eternal 87.
In a battle of former lightweight champions, Jack Becker meets Aidan Aguilera in what is a trilogy fight. Both have won a fight-a-piece however in in their last outing, Becker suffered a gruesome leg break in the opening seconds that put him on the sidelines for months. Although he has returned since then, he will be eager to put that terrible night well-and-truly behind him.
Lastly was the announcement that James Wong and Declan Wolfinden will square off in a welterweight fight.
