Former world title challenger Ev Ting turned in an outstanding performance on Saturday night at One: Quest for Gold in Yangon, Myanmar, with the New Zealand based fighter edging out streaking Costa Rican fighter Ariel Sexton.
“E.T.” and “Tarzan” put on a wildly entertaining battle, with Ev Ting bringing home a well-deserved split decision!

Fighting out of Auckland MMA, Ting (15-4) once again solidified his position as a top contender in the promotion’s lightweight division with the victory. The 28 year-old has now won two on the trot following his unanimous decision loss to champion Eduard Folayang almost 12 months ago.
In the main event, middleweight champion “The Burmese Python” Aung La N Sang added yet another accolade to his repertoire, snatching the vacant light heavyweight title with a quick-fire 56 second knockout victory over Brazil’s Alexandre Machado.
